Come learn how to make your writing more accessible for readers of all levels without dumbing down content and sacrificing accuracy. Learn some of the science behind plain language principles and try your hand at interactive examples that will be relevant to your work. We’ll also explore some online resources that might be helpful for plain language, including AI tools—along with ethical and environmental cautions for using GenAI.
Ellen Kuwana, MS, is a trained neuroscientist and award-winning science writer and editor who has more than 25 years of experience in biomedical research and science communications at large research institutions.
